When moving to our servers, and this applies to those who have existing sites, make sure to provide us your current hosting information such as FTP username and password and the control you are using. Once we receive payments through the Bank, allow us 24-48 hours to complete the transfer.

Note: When paying online, please go to our CONTACT PAGE and sign up for a new package. We only use Paypal so you must have account opened with Paypal. MAKES SURE YOU INDICATE in the contact for in "Additional Information" field that you are transferring from another host and indicate your current FTP information and the type of control panel you are using.

About your domain name

We are not a domain name registrar, although we register domain names for our web design customers and put altogether in one package.

This means that if you have your domain names registered by a domain name registrar, please ask the registrar to only update DNS. If you know the username and password (you must have it as the registrar sent this to you when you first registered your domain name), you can ask us to do it for you. You must then send this important information to us.

CANCELLATION

When you want to move from us to another hosting company

Although we always want to keep you, you can always move to another hosting company and transfer your website to another server. Please drop an email to support@webdevasia.com and indicate that you want to cancel your subscription and need to move to another hosting company.

Note: We require at least 30 days notice of cancellation before your hosting subscription with Web Development Asia expires. This will allow you to be able to transfer your domain name to another registrar. Remember that the policy for domain name transfers to ensure a smooth, glitch-free, transfer is that it should be done about 30 days into the domain name's expiry. We will then unlock your domain name and you can initiate the transfer.
